The Seconded European Standardization Expert for India (SESEI) project is launched in March 2013. Its general objective is to raise awareness on the European Standardization System, values and assets in India. The project is supported and operated by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), as well as by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry (EC DG ENTR) and by the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

India takes a major step under the National Green Hydrogen Mission 🇮🇳⚡ 🌱

Govt. has notified Green Ammonia & Green Methanol Standards on 27th Feb 2026—setting clear emission thresholds for fuels produced using green hydrogen.

RENEWABLE ENERGY INTEGRATION

✲ The Government is accelerating Renewable Energy (RE) integration through development of Green Energy Corridors (GEC) and expansion of Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) have been planned to integrate over 500 Giga Watt (GW) of non-fossil fuel

EU Commission releases 2nd draft of the Code of Practice on marking & labelling AI-generated content. The updated draft supports compliance with Article 50 of the AI Act, introducing:

✔️ Simplified requirements for labelling AI content
✔️ Greater flexibility for signatories
✔️

🤝 India & Finland strengthen cooperation in digitalization & sustainability

Key focus areas include:

· Collaboration in AI, 6G, semiconductors, and digital public infrastructure
· Partnerships in clean energy, smart grids, and green hydrogen
· Creation of Joint Working Groups

To foster transparency, the EU has published the 2nd draft of the Code of Practice to clearly label AI-generated content & deepfakes.

The new draft will help providers & deployers meet AI Act’s requirements.
